09-06-10. Camille and James throwing rocks in the creek at Granny's. Started the morning by making blueberry pancakes. Camille devoured a whole plate full. James, the picky eater, wouldn't even take a bite. Got James down for an early nap, ate lunch, and then headed to the creek. I could play in the creek all day. Kate brought toy boats for the kids to play with, but I'm sure I had more fun with them. I made a little channel for the boats to race through. Camille's boat always won the race. We walked up and down the creek, looking for treasures. I caught a little crawdad, and Camille was surprisingly fearless in holding it in her hand. James held it too, but quickly put the death grip on it. We had dinner at Granny's, followed by a quiet car ride home with both kids sleeping. Good times.
