09-22-10. Last minute effort. (or lack thereof) I do kind of like the randomness of the colors, shapes, and textures. Lighting provided only by the refrigerator light.
09-21-10. Camille's soccer team. I volunteered to take pictures for Camille's soccer team. I took a team photo and several individual shots during practice this evening. I couldn't find a shady spot, and the wind was blowing like crazy, but we managed to get a few good photos. I also took this opportunity to design a couple of soccer themed templates, and I must say that I'm happy with the results. If anyone wants to order a particular photo with this background, all I have to do is just drag the photo into position and save it. This did take quite a bit of work up front, but it was a fun project. The background is made up of a bunch of layers of soccer balls, nets, gradients, etc... all in varying degrees of transparency. If you look closely, you can even see the subtle hint of a soccer field layout in the lower left corner.
