10-26-10. Mums.
10-25-10. Grass. For a simple decorative grass, this stuff sure makes some interesting changes throughout the year. In the fall it sends out fluffy plumes on the ends of long stems, and the remaining blades of grass change colors and twist into spiral shapes. I like it.
10-24-10. Hayride & Bonfire at Thorncrest Farm. After being rained out on Saturday, the annual hayride was postponed to this evening. We were blessed with wonderful weather and great company. Grandpa & Grandma went all out this year with a porta-potty, manicured fire pit, tandem trailers, plenty to eat, and a burning statue/pyrotechnics show. Spooky stories were complemented by a nearly full moon rising through a thunderhead in the distance. Great times. We started a little earlier this year since it was a school night. This allowed for more daylight photography, and the light was perfect for capturing the event. More pictures will be posted soon.
