07-17-10. There's a fungus among us. The wood chips around the swingset grow all kinds of crazy fungi, especially after a rain. I'm amazed at how fast a huge clump of mushrooms can grow literally overnight. This photo has a slight haze to it due to my lens fogging up in the high humidity. This was a late night photo after spending the day hanging the porch swing, painting our master bath, and running new plumbing for a hose spigot on the upper deck.
07-16-10. S is for Swing. Last minute effort of a porch swing chain. We bought a new porch swing today. I've been wanting one ever since the deck was built, but I haven't been able to find one that I liked for the right price. Lowe's seems to be marking down their seasonal stuff already, so we took advantage of the lower price.
