Miles Boyer > 02-28-06. Hocus Pocus Focus on the Crocus.

Different yard and different angle from last week's picture. We actually came across another yard full of these little purple crocuses while on our walk tonight. The funny thing is that about 10 minutes after I took this picture, Teri called to tell me of a cool photo idea. She spotted another yard a few blocks down the street from us that is full of crocuses. I told her that she was too late, although I will have to check out the house she told me about. I do remember it from last year, so it might be pretty neat. Be prepared for more crocus pictures.
Miles Boyer > 02-26-06. Molly. Our neighbor's weimaraner posed for me as I walked by this afternoon. I may have to talk to Tom about doing a photoshoot with her. She is quite photogenic.
Miles Boyer > 02-25-06. We took a walk at the nature center this morning. Our entire walk was filled with the same muted colors as this picture. We did see at least 30 deer, 5 turkeys, 1 blue heron, and various other ducks, geese, and other birds. I almost posted a picture with 7 deer in it. It would have made a good "how many deer can you spot in this photo" because the deer were pretty well camouflaged with their surroundings. The photo wasn't that interesting though, so I decided on this one instead. It isn't terribly interesting either, but I kind of liked it.
Miles Boyer > 02-24-06. This could almost be a "guess what this is picture." I walked to Blockbuster tonight after work. Of course I carried my camera with me in case I found something worthy of a potd. This fence under construction caught my eye. The diagonal lines and the vanishing point perspective make for an interesting composition I think. The owner of the house spotted me taking pictures of his fence. He was a little curious why I was taking pictures of it, but I tried my best to explain that I saw something artistic in the way the boards were laid out. Initially, he seemed a little nervous that someone might be collecting evidence or something. We ended up chatting for a few minutes. I actually had a hard time finding just the right angle to keep distractions out of the frame.
Miles Boyer > 02-23-06. This certainly isn't my best work, but I didn't have much time for the potd today. Kate and I took a short walk around the neighborhood this evening. I stopped long enough to take a few shots. I'm kind of getting tired of the colorized black and white photos, but this photo just didn't look good in color or solid black and white.
Miles Boyer > 02-22-06. Everyone has been asking to see a picture of Kate, so here it is. I've been taking a picture of her growing belly each month, but this is the first month that her bump is actually noticeable. We have our first ultrasound appointment on March 9th. We'll share the news with everyone as soon as we find out. Stay tuned until then. I'll try to post more pictures as Kate's belly grows.
Miles Boyer > 02-21-06. Another episode of "Guess what it is"
Miles Boyer > 02-20-06. Abby tries to feel the baby kick. Ok- I'm sure someone else can think of a better caption than me, so let me hear it.
Miles Boyer > 02-19-06. After a busy weekend of traveling, we were happy to get back home. I didn't feel too motivated to search for a potd subject. Fortunately, Kate's flowers still looked good enough to make a quick picture.
