Miles Boyer > 12-31-06. Just a boring last minute effort of the lamp in our office. I think I've even taken a similar photo of the same lamp before. Shows how much motivation I had on New Year's Eve. I spent the whole day working around the house, so I didn't have much energy for photography.

Miles Boyer > 12-30-06. Chris firing his .357 Magnum. We had a family gathering today at Mom & Stuart's house. After lunch, all the boys went shooting. It had been a few years since I had even touched my guns, so it gave me a chance to practice my aim. I was a little rusty, but that is to be expected. We shot our targets until it was too dark to see them. As it got darker we started noticing the large flash coming from Chris' .357. I just had to capture it with my camera. I hand held this at 1/10 of a second. The long exposure made it just a tad blurry, but it gave me more time to catch the flash. It took me a few tries to capture it, but I ended up with several neat photos. Notice the recoil of the gun. Chris is quite the marksman. He is very accurate with every gun he has. His very first shot with his .223 from 150 yards was dead center on the target. We always have fun testing his aim with his .22 pistol. We'll throw a can up in the air, and he'll usually hit it a few times before it hits the ground. This time, Noel started throwing spent 9mm shells into the air. (for those of you who don't know how big that is, it is about the size of the last joint of my pinky) After about 5 or six misses, he actually hit a 9mm shell in the air. How is that for accuracy.
