Miles Boyer > The monster. I love my new macro lens. I can't believe how much detail is just waiting to be found in small objects.
Miles Boyer > Praying Mantis. He seems to be giving me the look of "get that camera out of my face"
Miles Boyer > Bumble Bee on a Sunflower. My camera was 3 inches from the bee, and I was looking up towards it. After several attempts with several bees swarming around me, one of them actually fell onto my shoulder. I had a dream that night that I had bees crawling all over me.
Miles Boyer > This little guy is about 3/8 of an inch long. (smaller than a key on the keyboard) Fortunately, he stood still long enough for me to take his picture with my new macro lens.
Miles Boyer > Just a ladybug.
Miles Boyer > Pine needles.
Miles Boyer > Ready for take-off.
Miles Boyer > The perfect drop. Ellen, doesn't this remind you of the beginning of the PBS show 3-2-1 Contact. This took a little patience and several attempts before I captured this one.
